ICP-Brasil mantém crescimento em fevereiro

O mês de fevereiro fechou com recorde no número de emissões de certificados digitais no padrão da Infraestrutura de Chaves Públicas Brasileira (ICP-Brasil). O Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia da Informação (ITI) apurou 644.983 novos certificados emitidos para o mês, 11,8% a mais que o registrado no mesmo período de 2021. Quando comparado com o mês de fevereiro de 2020, esse aumento é ainda maior: 32,1%.

Para o Diretor-Presidente do ITI, Carlos Fortner, “os consecutivos recordes são resultado do esforço e trabalho desenvolvido pela Autarquia na missão de divulgar e massificar o uso do Certificado Digital, tanto pelos cidadãos quanto pelas entidades e empresas.”

Este é o 21º mês de recorde consecutivo. Até o momento, o número de Certificados Digitais ativos chega a quase 11 milhões e somente em 2022, já foram emitidos 1.437.906 novos certificados.
